DA40 XLS

The Diamond DA40 XLS is CFTC´s premium training and rental aircraft. It is equipped with all of the bells and whistles including Garmin´s G1000 «glass cockpit&», full autopilot, traffic awareness, XM weather, and XM radio. Constructed in London, Ontario, the DA40 is a 4 seat all composite aircraft powered by a 180 HP Lycoming IO360 engine.

Diamond Evolution DA20-C1

These three aircrafts are the workhorses of CFTC fleet. Aircrafts are equipped with the latest in «glass cockpit» technology. The Garmin G500 will give our students the opportunity to learn right from the beginning the modern technology used in the commercial jets of today.

Flight Simulator

CFTC provides ground instruments flight training on a Red Bird limited motion simulator recently acquired with the Twin Seminole platform. It will allow the candidate to practice all the possible approaches available in Canada.

The Garmin 1000 DA40 simulator is new exclusive feature of Calgary Flight Training center. The Garmin 1000 DA40 simulator the behavior of the G1000 system interface and provides you with a safer environment to learn the basic operation of the system.
